Kindergarten
Dear Kindergarten Families,
Welcome to Kindergarten! We look forward to having a great year! The following items are recommended to help your student feel successful in Kindergarten.
- Regular sized backpack (no wheels) with student’s name on it
- 1 package of white 24x3 inch paper sentence strips
- 2 composition books wide ruled (not with spiral)
- 1 ream of white copy paper
- 1 pack of baby wipes
- 3 Pack Large Purple Elmer’s Glue Sticks
- 3 Double sided Scotch permanent tapes we use this for memory books
- 3 Double sided Scotch Permanent tape runners we use this for memory books
- $10 Walgreens Gift Card for printing pictures for memory book
The following items are greatly appreciated:
- AstroBright COPY Paper
- Colored Cardstock
- White Cardstock

The Kindergarten Team
1st Grade
Recommended Supplies: (PLEASE NO ROSE ART SUPPLIES)
- Backpack (please write child's name)
- One dozen yellow Ticonderoga pencils
- Four or more Black fine tip EXPO white board markers
- Four black vis-a-vis (skinny tip) markers
- Two boxes of Crayola crayons (24 colors)
- One ream of white copy paper
- One box of Kleenex tissues OR baby wipes OR disinfecting wipes
- Two or more large Purple Elmer's Glue Sticks
- One yellow highlighter pen One or more Pentel Hi-Polymer white block erasers *can be purchased at Dollar Tree or Amazon*
Wish List:
- Colored Copy paper (pastel or astrobright colors)
- Sandwich sized baggies
- Gallon sized baggies
The supplies are for the classroom and will be used and shared throughout the year. Thank you for your help and support!
The First Grade Team
2nd Grade
Dear Parents,
We can’t wait to meet all our wonderful families. To help support our classrooms, we are asking each student to bring certain supplies on the first day of school. These can be purchased at neighborhood stores such as Target or Walmart or on Amazon.
Materials:
- 1 small plastic pencil box (must fit in small student desk) No bags with zippers
- 1 dozen sharpened #2 pencils – Ticonderoga Brand – Yellow NOT orange
- 1 package of black Expo dry erase markers (chisel tip)
- 2 highlighter pens
- 1 package of Crayola crayons (16)
- Vis-à-vis black wet erase overhead transparency pens (fine point) NOT Sharpies
- 1 package of glue sticks
- 1 special folder (may have designs or characters)
- 1 ream of white copy paper
- 1 box of Kleenex OR baby wipes
PLEASE NO BINDERS OR PENCIL SHARPENERS.
Would greatly appreciate throughout the year:
- Rewards for treasure box (special stickers, pencils, erasers, small individually wrapped treats, bookmarks, etc.)

Individual Supplies

- 1 red or blue pen (for self-correcting papers)
- 1 sturdy folder with 2 pockets inside for daily homework (can be any design/color)
- 1 spiral notebook (single-subject, wide-ruled, about 70 pages)
Class Supplies (to be collected and shared)
- 3 black dry erase markers
- 2 large glue sticks
- some pencil top erasers
Class Donations that we appreciate throughout the year
- Kleenex (we really don't have anywhere to store "Kleenex mountain" if 40+ boxes arrive in Aug)
- black dry erase markers for whiteboards
Please do NOT purchase the following:
- Binders - they don’t fit in the desks
- Toolboxes - I've purchased individual pencil trays for us to use
**If you are in need, please let me know. I have some of these items already in the closet.

Abrams' 3rd Grade Supply List
Individual Supplies
- small, basic plastic toolbox to hold the following supplies in your desk. Please, no zipper, locks, or drawers as they won't fit into our own TINY desk drawer.
- 1 box of crayons (18 count or less)
- pack of 8 colored pencils
- 1 fine tip highlighter
- optional - a personal pencil sharpener
- 1 sturdy pocket folder for homework
- 2 spiral notebooks (1 subject, wide-ruled, about 70 pages) for math and writing assignments
- old sock or small cloth to be used as a personal whiteboard eraser
- 1 large glue stick
- 1 pack Ticonderoga pencils

- 1 pack of whiteboard markers (black or blue please)

Dear families,
This new year will be an exciting one for your student! We are requesting that each 4th grade student bring the following items with them to school on the first day of class:
***Items to be kept in your child’s desk. (Please label items as needed.)
- 3 composition notebooks
- 3 two-pocket PLASTIC folders (one red, one blue, one yellow)
- 1 small box of crayons (no bigger than 24-count box)
- Pair of school-sized scissors
- Small whiteboard eraser (can be a washcloth)
- 3 Highlighter markers (1 pink, 1 yellow, 1 green)
- 12 #2 Ticonderoga-brand pencils (this will need to be replenished during the year)
- Inexpensive pair of earbuds
- 1 package of whiteboard markers
***The following items will be considered a donation to the classroom.
- 1 box of Kleenex
- 1 package of whiteboard pens
- Disinfecting wipes
NOTE: Please do not buy a binder or pencil box for your child as it will not fit in our desks.

Dear Parents,
This coming year will be an exciting one for your fifth grader. We are requesting that each fifth grade student bring with them the following items on the first day of class:
The following items will be kept in your child's desk. Please label items where appropriate.
- Four wide-ruled notebooks - spiral or smooth binding
- Four 2- pocket plastic folders (one red, one blue, one green, and one yellow)
- One box of colored pencils or crayons
- One large eraser and/or a package of pencil top erasers
- One jumbo-sized glue stick
- Pair of school-sized scissors (please label)
- An inexpensive washcloth or old sock + whiteboard pen
- One inexpensive- simple, basic calculator (non-scientific)
The following items will be considered a donation to the classroom.
- One package of post-it notes (3in. by 3in)
- One box of Kleenex
- One package of wide-ruled binder paper
- A package of white board pens
Additional donations to the class would be appreciated
- Disinfecting wipes
- A ream of copy paper
- Additional packages of Ticonderoga brand number 2 pencils
- Additional packages of Kleenex
Many of these supplies can be purchased at drug stores like Target or Wal-Mart. Also, because we use these supplies throughout the year, we would appreciate your support in keeping these supplies replenished as needed. We appreciate your support and anticipate a successful year working with your child. Please reach out if you need help getting these supplies.
