Kindergarten
Welcome to Kindergarten! We look forward to having a great year! The following items are recommended to help your student feel successful in Kindergarten.
**We suggest Crayola brand products, not RoseArt.**
- Regular sized backpack (no wheels) with student's name on it
- 2 or more large elmer's purple glue sticks
- 2 boxes of 24 count Crayola crayons (regular size)
- 1 wide ruled composition book
- 1 package black Vis-a-vis markers
- 1 box #2 Ticonderoga brand pencils
- 4 or more black whiteboard markers
- 1 pair kid size safety scissors
- 1 box of bandaids
- 2 reams of white copy paper
- 1 pack of baby wipes or 1 box of kleenex
- 1 box gallon size ziplock bags
- Double sided tape runner (Elmer's or Scotch) we use this for memory books
The following items are greatly appreciated:
- AstroBright COPY Paper
- White cardstock
- Colored Cardstock

The Kindergarten Team
1st Grade
Recommended Supplies: (PLEASE NO ROSE ART SUPPLIES)
● Backpack (please write child's name)
● One pencil box- 5"x 8"
● One dozen plain Ticonderoga pencils
● Four or more Black fine tip EXPO white board markers
● Four black vis-a-vis (skinny tip) markers
● Two boxes of 2M Crayola color crayons
● Two reams of white copy paper
● One box of Kleenex tissues or baby wipes
● Two or more large Purple Elmer's Glue Sticks
● One yellow highlighter pen
● One or more Pentel Hi-Polymer Erasers (caps or blocks) *can be purchased at Dollar Tree or Amazon*
NO binders please. They do not fit In their desks.
NO pencil sharpeners, fancy pens, or fancy pencils.

The First Grade Team
2nd Grade
We can’t wait to meet all our wonderful families. To help support our classrooms, we are asking each student to bring certain supplies on the first day of school. These can be purchased at neighborhood stores such as Target or Walmart.
Materials:
- 1 small plastic pencil box (must fit in small student desk) No bags with zippers
- 1 dozen sharpened #2 pencils — Ticonderoga Brand — Yellow NOT orange
- 1 package of black Expo dry erase markers (chisel tip)
- 2 highlighter pens
- 1 package of Crayola crayons (16)
- Vis-a-vis black wet erase overhead transparency pens
(fine point) NOT Sharpies
- 1 package of pencil top erasers
- 1 package of glue sticks
- 1 special folder (may have designs or characters)
- 1 ream of white copy paper
- 1 composition book
- 1 spiral (wide ruled)
- 1 box of Kleenex OR baby wipes
PLEASE NO BINDERS OR PENCIL SHARPENERS.
The first day of school for your child is Thursday, August 10th at 7:45 AM. We look forward to a great year!

Trajan 2nd Grade Team
3rd Grade
This new year will be an exciting one for your student! We are requesting that each third grade student bring the following items with them to school on the first day of class:
Items to be kept in your child’s desk. (Please label items as needed.)
- 3 composition notebooks
- 3 two-pocket PLASTIC folders (one red, one blue, one yellow)
- 1 small box of crayons (no bigger than 24-count box)
- Pair of school-sized scissors
- Small whiteboard eraser (can be a washcloth)
- 3 Highlighter markers (1 pink, 1 yellow, 1 green)
- 12 #2 Ticonderoga-brand pencils (this will need to be replenished during the year)
- Inexpensive pair of ear buds
- 1 red correcting pen
- 1 pencil box- the smaller kind or else it will be too big for our desks
- 1 package of whiteboard markers (no yellow)
The following items will be considered a donation to the classroom.
- 2 packages of glue sticks
- 2 reams of white copy paper
- 1 box of Kleenex
- 1 ream of colored copy paper
- 1 package of whiteboard pens
- Disinfecting wipes
NOTE: Please do not buy a binder for your child as it will not fit in our desks.

Please send the following materials to school with your child: *

> 2 journal notebooks: standard-size, spiral or smooth binding.
> Black or blue white board markers
> an old sock, a small cloth, or anything you could use as a white board eraser.

5th Grade
This coming year will be an exciting one for your fifth grader. We are requesting that each fifth grade student bring with them the following items on the first day of class:
The following items will be kept in your child's desk. Please label items where appropriate.
- Six full size journal notebooks- spiral or smooth binding -Not composition books (3 for Blake)
- Four 2- pocket plastic folders (one red, one blue, one green, and one yellow)
- One box of colored pencils
- One jumbo-sized glue stick
- Pair of school-sized scissors (please label)
- An inexpensive washcloth or old sock (for white board eraser)
- One inexpensive- simple, basic calculator (non-scientific)
- One highlighter pen
The following items will be considered a donation to the classroom.
- One post-it notes (3in. by 3in)
- One box of Kleenex
- 1 package of wide ruled binder paper
- A package of white board pens
Additional donations to the class would be appreciated
- Disinfecting wipes
- A ream of copy paper and/or colored copy paper
- Additional packages of Kleenex
Many of these supplies can be purchased at drug stores like Target or Wal-Mart. Also, because we use these supplies throughout the year, we would appreciate your support in keeping these supplies replenished as needed. We appreciate your support and anticipate a successful year working with your child.
